emiliana torrini`s fisherman`s woman, from 2005, is one of those records that in its own right define a certain period of my life, and i still play sunny road play on high rotation. : but i reckon this one is a pretty sweet catchy pop tune too! i hope she playes in Olso this year, because she blew me away with her witty commentary at her 2006 Rotterdam (hotel mozaique) gig. a pretty girl with a pretty voice and sharper than sharp tongue - right up my ally.
